Eight prominent architectsexplored the seminar theme through case studies of their own work and througha wider reflection on the balance between modern technology and place.  Three respondents reacted to thearchitects’ presentations and delivered their own contributions to thesubject.Speakers include architects Raimund Abraham,Enric Miralles, Glenn Murcutt, Jean Nouvel, Patricia Patkau, Renzo Piano,?lvaro Siza and Pater Walker. Stanford Anderson, Kenneth Frampton and Kaarin Taipale responded tothe architects’ presentations and delivered original presentations. Alsoparticipating were architects Shlomo Aronson, Julian Beinart, Pe’era Goldman,Arthur Goldreich, David Reznik, Moshe Safdie, Arthur Spector, Avraham Yaskiwho introduced the various speakers. Discussion session moderators includedarchitects Shlomo Aronson, Zvi Efrat, Omri Eytan, Pe’era Goldman, AndresMariasch, Robert Oxman, Arie Rahamimoff and Tony Rigg.
